Of course, Naruto has great artwork and detail as well, but YYH is just a wonderful favorite of mine. YYH's themes are also more mature, and though the art is old, I like the detail they put into the main characters. The fighting style is imitative of DBZ, but at least you have people like Kurama and Hiei to save the day with creativity. YYH is one of the few anime where I love almost every character in the show. How Did Yu Yu Hakusho End While the ending was rather abrupt to say the least, its rather different depending on how one experienced the story. Not only are they more mysterious (Kurama and Hiei's pasts didn't get all that revealed until episodes 98 and on!), but they give off a cool sense. Now, Yusuke is a ghost with a mission, performing good deeds at the beshest of Botan, the spirit guide of. When he died saving a little kid from a speeding car, the afterlife didnt know what to do with him, so it gave him a second chance at life. The characters are also much more interesting to me. Yusuke Urameshi was a tough teen delinquent until one selfless act changed his life by ending it. I like YYH primarily because some of the intelligence it brings (Chapter Black was very well done), humor that wasn't corny, and no big booming morals that weren't subtle in their own ways. The thing I don't like about the anime is post the tournament ending. The Anime gives a more indepth look at the tournament while the manga skips a lot and gives you a summary of what happened at the tournament. I was sad that it was ending of course, but it was appropriate. 1 The YuYu Hakusho anime and manga are basically a 1:1 but starts to split a bit post Sensui. I mean it's one of the few endings I liked.
